Part-exchange your watch in London

1. Choose your target piece. Pick from our in-stock collection at 69 Hatton Garden, or commission us to source a specific reference.

2. Send your current watch. Brand, model, reference, year, condition and photos on WhatsApp. We'll come back with a trade value as soon as we can.

3. Confirm the swap. Visit the showroom or arrange insured postage. The difference (either way) is settled by bank transfer.

4. Walk out wearing the new piece. All paperwork, authentication and any warranty handled by us.

A part-exchange is usually the most tax- and time-efficient way to upgrade a luxury watch. You skip the auction wait, the dealer-to-dealer cash spread and the risk of carrying a high-value piece while the next one ships.

Because part-exchange deals are net transactions, dealers typically pay a higher trade value than a straight cash buy-back — you capture more of the upgrade in your new watch.

Most clients trade up — moving from a Datejust to a Daytona, a Royal Oak to a Nautilus, a Cartier Santos to a Patek Calatrava. Some trade laterally to refresh a collection. Some trade down and pocket the difference. All three flows are welcome.

Multi-watch trades are also possible. Bundle two or three pieces against a higher-value reference and the maths often works in your favour.
